Connect. Reflect. Restore Clarity.

Experiences designed to support clarity, resilience, and meaningful connection.

Intentional experiences designed to support clarity, emotional steadiness, and meaningful connection.

YouMattyr events are not motivational spectacles.  They are purposefully designed environments
— created to help people slow down, reflect, and realign under real-world pressure.

These are spaces for people who carry responsibility, lead others, and want to live with greater steadiness
— not intensity.

The Northern Climb — Summer 2026

A fundraising and awareness initiative in support of the YouMattyr Foundation

This summer, we’re undertaking The Northern Climb — a six-week, northbound alpine journey
from British Columbia through Alberta and into the Yukon.

Eight 'non-technical' Alpine Ascents

Over 31,000 feet of vertical — the equivalent of Mount Everest

Designed as intentional movement in service of clarity, resilience, and emotional steadiness

This is not a race.
It’s not a competition.
It’s a movement.

Not all participation is physical. The Northern Climb also includes Ambassadors
who help extend the mission through awareness, conversation, and community support.

The Northern Climb exists to raise awareness and operational support
for the YouMattyr Foundation’s prevention-based work — while creating a grounded,
inclusive way for people to participate physically, symbolically, or through support.

Ways to Participate:

Climb With Us

If you live in — or can travel to — Alberta, British Columbia, or the Yukon,

you’re invited to join us in whatever way feels right:

  • Join for a single ascent
  • Participate for one or more days
  • Complete one of the scheduled climbs alongside the team

All climbs are non-competitive and non-technical.
Details for each climb (location, elevation, dates) will be shared in advance.

Participation donations are directed to the YouMattyr Foundation’s general operational fund and are not tied to a specific climb or outcome.

Become a Northern Climb Ambassador

Ambassadors support the climb by helping raise awareness and funds

— without needing to participate physically.

Ambassadors help extend the impact of the climb by:

  • Sharing the mission and message
  • Raising funds through their own network
  • Hosting small local efforts or awareness moments
  • Walking, hiking, or moving intentionally in solidarity

Ambassadors receive:

  • A personal fundraising link (via GoFundMe)
  • A simple ambassador guide and messaging toolkit
  • Recognition on the YouMattyr website (optional)

Why Movement

Movement changes perspective.
So does showing up — together.

The Northern Climb is not about proving strength.
It’s about practicing steadiness under load.

One step at a time.
One person at a time.
One moment of clarity at a time.

YouMattYr events are not about fixing people.

They are about restoring clarity — so people can meet life, leadership, and responsibility with greater presence and self-trust.

If you’re seeking meaningful connection, grounded conversation, and real-world integration — you’re in the right place.
